A fresh new year and a fresh bucket of inspiration
Tadá! Our new homepage is finally online! The list of new features is long and I’m very satisfied with the result (It’s Martin who’s writing this by the way). The backend coding of the site has been greatly improved, it’s faster, more kind to the streams we’re fetching, and much more. You can now subscribe on our different streams through RSS. Just click the RSS-button in you web browser (in the navigation bar) and choose which stream you would like. The design has been completely overhauled and it blends in nicely with our new logotype. Also, the site at last looks okay on an iPhone, something that ironically wasn’t true for our last design.
Anyway, a few weeks back we returned to school after a relaxing winter break. We have been working hard since then and we are making amazing progress! We continue to use Goplan to keep track of our feature driven development model, and it is working great. We have even been in contact with one of the developers behind Goplan through Twitter, they really seem like a nice bunch of people!
We are also making some great progress with our upcoming iPhone applications. We still can’t go into details, but we are working on some fresh ideas and the development is going as planned. With some luck we will have our first application on the App Store in not too many weeks from now.
Last, but not least, we have gotten an addition to our team! Our latest member is Niklas, who will be working on creating a working business model for cocoa³. He will be writing business plans, researching the mobile application market, and much more. The result of his work will help cocoa³ to become a real working business after our graduation.
